We do take all necessary steps to clearly, accurately, and comprehensively label the package to ensure a smooth international shipping process through customs. You will be responsible for paying additional charges for customs clearance. Customs policies vary from country to country.
International orders are subject to duties and taxes billed by your country’s customs department upon arrival. Duty, customs tariffs, taxes, and VAT are set by the destination country. Black Sparrow Handmade is not responsible for any duties, customs, tariffs, taxes and VATs applied to your package.

If you refuse a shipment from Black Sparrow Handmade, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Black Sparrow Handmade. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. If the return fee exceeds the amount of the merchandise plus shipping costs, the package will be abandoned and you will not be refunded.
We try our best to get all orders out as quickly as we can, and typically will ship your item within 2-4 business days after your order it. You should receive a confirmation email once your package has shipped.
Who do you use for Deliveries?
We use the US Postal Service for a majority of our orders. Once you receive a tracking number from us, you may track the status of your order through www.usps.com.
Please note that if you live in an Apartment building and the USPS can’t access your apartment, you will most likely have to make arrangements with them to pick up your package at the closest post office.
Why doesn’t my tracking number work?
It may take a day or so for USPS to update the status of your package before the tracking number works. If you are having troubles, please contact us.
My package should be here by now, where is it?
If you have checked your tracking number and it says delivered, uh oh! You are going to have to contact your local USPS to see what is going on. At this point, it is out of our hands and onto the shipping companies wide shoulders. We suggest looking around your neighbors houses to start, it may be that simple! If the postal service is unable to help, please contact us.
I gave you the wrong address, what should I do?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, please contact us ASAP at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will change the mailing address for you. If it has shipped already, we suggest contacting your local post office to request re-routing the package. If they are unable to carry that request, and it is sent back to us, we will send it to you once we receive it back. We regret adding in that you may have to pay to have it re-shipped if it was your error.
